We are a circle of friends — academics by training, professionals by trade — quietly building tools so that da'wah in Indonesia can be sharper, gentler, and more grounded in real daleel.
Who we are
Sukses & Berkah Group started, as many good things do, around a weekly halaqoh. A handful of us — colleagues, classmates, and friends — who kept showing up to study, kept asking each other the same question: what can we actually leave behind?
Most of the group are active in academia. A few of us work in IT, software engineering, and data science. Different rooms, same conviction: that the tools coming out of the modern Internet — large language models, vector search, classifiers — can serve the ummah, but only if someone with adab and ilm shapes how they're used. Otherwise the technology happens to us, not for us.
We are deliberately small. We are not a company, not a startup, not a media organization. We are friends who agreed to build slowly, ask our teachers — academic and shariah — before we publish, and treat every reference we surface as something that will be read by a real da'i preparing for a real audience. That weight is the whole point.

Our shariah anchor is Ustadz Abdullah Haidir, Lc. He spent 15 years at the Sulay Da'wah Office in Riyadh as a translator and da'i before returning home to serve. Now actively writing, lecturing, and helping run the Sharia Consulting Center — alongside his work as the lead curator at manhajuna.com. Every line of code, every model we train, every Qur'anic passage we embed — we hope it counts as amal jariyah. Not amal that ends when we stop typing, not influence that fades when a feed scrolls past. We are building, in sha Allah, ilm yantafa'u bihi — knowledge from which benefit is taken — for da'i across Indonesia and the diaspora who carry this responsibility every Friday, every halaqoh, every conversation with someone who needs a softer answer.

Three foundational references that shape how we measure our own work — not as numbers, but as something that continues after.
Hadith
إِذَا مَاتَ ٱلْإِنْسَانُ ٱنْقَطَعَ عَنْهُ عَمَلُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ ثَلَاثَةٍ: صَدَقَةٍ جَارِيَةٍ، أَوْ عِلْمٍ يُنْتَفَعُ بِهِ، أَوْ وَلَدٍ صَالِحٍ يَدْعُو لَهُ
“When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: continuous charity, knowledge from which benefit is gained, or a righteous child who supplicates for him.”

The verse that names our north star. Building tools that help a da'i deliver one better khutbah falls — we hope — under ilmun yuntafa'u bihi.
Qur'an
يَرْفَعِ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مِنكُمْ وَٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْعِلْمَ دَرَجَـٰتٍ
“Allah will raise those who believe among you, and those who have been given knowledge, in degrees.”

Why we are an academic group first. Knowledge is not decoration — it is, by the Qur'an's own framing, the thing that raises a person.
Hadith
خَيْرُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ وَعَلَّمَهُ
“The best of you is the one who learns the Qur'an and teaches it.”
— Sahih al-Bukhari 5027 · Uthman ibn Affan
Teaching includes the infrastructure that lets the teacher reach further. Our work is, at most, a small contribution to the second half of that sentence.
